Detective Pat Chappel (Ken Stott, who would later go on to play Detective Inspector John Rebus in the series Rebus) led a small, dedicated vice squad of the London Metropolitan Police Force in The Vice, a UK series that aired on ITV1 from 1999 through 2003.

The series consisted of 5 seasons, the first 3 of which consisted of 2-part 60-minute episodes, 1 season of 90-minute episodes, and a final season of 60-minute episodes.
