Quincy,
M.E. aired on NBC from October 1976 through May 1983 and
included 148
episodes over 8 seasons. The series starred Jack Klugman as the Los
Angeles Medical Examiner. Dr. Quincy's first name was never revealed
during the series, but his first initial was known to be R.
The first 4 episodes (season 1) were broadcast as part of the NBC
Sunday Mystery Movie, alternating with Columbo,
McCloud, and McMillan
and Wife.
