Magnum P. I. aired on CBS from December 1980 through May 1988 and included 162 episodes over 8 seasons.

The series, set in Hawaii, starred Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum, a former naval intelligence officer who works as a private investigator. In exchange for providing security on the estate of novelist Robin Masters (who was never seen on the show), Magnum lived in a guest house on the property and had access to a red Ferrari.
