The Dresden Files premiered as an original series on The SciFi Channel in January 2007. It has not (yet) been renewed for a second season.

The series stars Paul Blackthorne as private investigator Harry Dresden, the only wizard that advertises in the Chicago yellow pages. The series is based on the characters created by Jim Butcher.
