Diagnosis
Murder aired on CBS from October 1993 through May 2001 and
included 178 episodes over 8 seasons. Two made-for-television movies
based on the series aired in 2002.
The series starred Dick Van Dyke as
Dr. Mark Sloan who originally appeared as a character in an episode of
the TV series Jake and the Fat Man (March 1991). Several TV movies
based on this character were aired prior to the series debut in 1993.
