Conviction
was a not-quite-spin-off from the Law & Order franchise of
television shows. The series, which lasted just one half-season on NBC
in the spring of 2006, focused on the assistant district attorneys of
the New York judicial system.
The series starred Stephanie March as Alexandra Cabot, who had
previously appeared
on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as the bureau chief of
the rookie prosecutors.
