Charlie's Angels aired on ABC from September 1976 through August 1981 and included 115 episodes over 5 seasons.

Charlie, who was never seen on the show, was Charles Townsend, owner of a Los Angeles detective agency who employed former policewomen as private investigators ("angels"). There were several cast changes during the series' relatively short run, though Jaclyn Smith (Kelly) was a regular in all five seasons.

Two theatrical movies based on the series have been released with different actors; Charlie's Angels in 2000 and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle in 2003.
